Our business started in Northern Ireland in 2020 when we realised confluence of genetics and machine learning would enable us to use Polygenic Risk Scores (PGS) to accurately create health reports from consumer genetic tests.

Liza has a degree in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. After successfully founding a data analytics business in the UK she re-discovered her love of genetics. She completed a course with Cambridge University (GB) and a Masters Degree with the University of Ulster (NI) to become an accredited geneticist.

Richard has a degree in Computer Science from Brunel University (GB), a Masters Degree in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from the University of York (GB) and a Specialism in Bioinformatics from John Hopkins University (USA).

When combined, the skills of Richard and Liza resulted in the development of a proprietary machine learning system that analyses the raw genetic data, compares it with publicly available databases of PGS data in real-time and produces a full DNA health report.
